Adelaide Strikers Team is a T20 franchise men’s cricket team in Big Bash League. It is based in the Adelaide state of Australia. Adelaide Oval is the home ground of the team and they play most of their match on their home ground. In BBL history Adelaide Strikers have many times strong squad. They picked many great players like Colin Ingram, Michael Klinger, Rashid Khan, Kieron Pollard, Adil Rashid, & Alex Carey. Alex Carey is the vice-captain of the Adelaide team. Adelaide Strikers Team Franchise
The franchise Adelaide Strikers Team was founded in 2011 by Australia Cricket. Australia Cricket picks 8 teams from 6 states of the country. The owner of the all-franchise team is Australia Cricket and there is no separate owner for the franchise team. Every team allows picking 18 local players and 2 overseas players for the squad.
Adelaide team signed Micheal Klinger as their team captain in the first season of the Big Bash League. Strikers lost their 1st match against Hobart Hurricanes by 2 runs. On 20 December 2011, they won the 1st match against Sydney Thunder. Adelaide Strikers chase the target of 149 with a loss of 6 wickets.

Adelaide Strikers Team Rivals Teams
The two most dangerous rivalry teams give a tough time many times to the Strikers team. Team Perth Scorchers and Brisbane Heat.
Perth Scorchers
Perth Scorchers is the most successful team in the Big Bash League. The Adelaide Strikers team give a tough time to the Adelaide Scorchers many times. The match between Perth and Strikers delay due to rain on 13 January 2018. Perth team made 87 runs with the loss of 9 wickets. Australia Cricket reduced the over of both teams due to rain. Adelaide’s team easily chase the target of the run and Suzie Bates made 49 runs for the team. Strikers win the match by 6 wickets.
On 9 November 2019 Perth Scorchers set the target of 173 runs against Strikers. In the beginning, Adelaide Strikers start slowly but end the match strongly. Bridget Patterson made 60 runs on 32 balls. Perth Scorchers win the match by 2 runs. Once again in & December 2019 in the semi-final match Stickers chase easily the target of 127 runs with the remaining 11 balls.
Brisbane Heat
On 21 January 2017 Brisbane Heat set the target of 271 runs for the Adelaide Strikers team. Strikers were near to chase the target they need 3 runs to complete the target. But the match becomes equal due to runs. Both teams play super over to win the match where Dottin took 2 wickets and limited Adelaide just to four runs. Brisbane wins the match by 4 runs and qualifies for the final.
Once again on 8 December 2019, Both teams face each other in Allan Border Field. Brisbane set a target of 161 runs against the Strikers and they win the match by 6 wickets. Sammy-Jo-Jhonson hit four sixes against the bowling of Devine. Beth Mooney gets the award of the ” Player of the Match”.
Adelaide Strikers Team Kit
Nike is the current manufacturer of the Strikers and the kit color is sky blue. On the left side of the kit jersey, the official logo of the team is designed. Vodafone and West End are the front and back sponsors for the team kit. People Choice Credit Union, Vodafone, and Jeep are the breast sponsor for the kit.

Jake Weatherald is the highest run scorer of the Adelaide team. He scored a total of 1721 runs in 68 innings with a 26.89 average. He is in the 1st position by highest runs. Alex Cary made 1588 runs in 48 innings with 35.28. He is in 2nd position in runs. Jonathan Wells made 1377 runs in 56 innings with a 36.23 average. He is in the 3rd position in runs. Travis Head made 1349 runs in 48 innings with a 133.96 average. He is in the 4th position in runs.

Adelaide Strikers Team Home Ground
Adelaide Oval is the Strikers team’s home ground. It is a sports ground located in Parkland in the center of the city. The venue is mostly used for cricket events and football games. South Australian Government directs the sports stadium. In 1871 it was opened for the first time to the people. It has a record of the highest crowd on 2 December 2017 at the 2ns Ashes test. 55,513 people attend this event which made it a memorable cricket match at the venue. Adelaide Oval Stadium has a capacity of 53,500 seats.

Jake Weatherald make 115 runs in 70 balls against Hobart Hurricanes on 4 February 2018. In that inning, he hit eight sixes and 9 fours. He is the only individual highest run scorer of the 2018 BBL tournament. Travis Head made 101 runs on 53 balls with a 190.56 strike rate. He his nine 6 and eight 4 in Adelaide Oval on 31 December 2015.
Alex Carey hit 101 runs on 62 balls and he hit 3 sixes and 10 4rs with the strike rate of 162.90 against Brisbane Heat on Adelaide Oval on 21 January 2021. Alex Carey once again made 100 runs on 56 balls with a strike rate of 178.57. He hits 12 fours and four sixes against the Hobart Hurricanes team. Tim Ludeman score 92 runs on 44 balls and hit 5 sixes and nine 4 against Melbourne Stars on 18 December 2014 at Adelaide Oval.
