Brisbane Heat is a franchise team in the Big Bash League. The Brisbane team franchise is based in Brisbane city of Australia State.  The home ground of The Gabba stadium is also known as Brisbane Cricket Ground. Australia Cricket launch its league in 2011 and select eight teams from its 6 different states. Wade Seccombe is the head coach of the team and Darren Lehmann is the assistant coach of the Brisbane team. Brisbane Heat Team Performance

Brisbane Heat becomes the one-time champion of the Big bash League. They can qualify just 3 times in the tournament final of BBL. Below we give all detail about the all-season performance of the team. BBL schedule is near to start and you can get all details in my article by one click on it.

Brisbane Heat Team Season 1

They start the season playing and lost 4 matches at the beginning against Perth Scorchers, Melbourne Stars, Sydney Sixers, and Adelaide Strikers. Later they win three matches continuously. Brisbane ended the tournament at 5th place in the points table.

Brisbane Heat Team Season 2

They start 2nd season with excitement. The Brisbane franchise team retained some players and pick new players for the squad. In the league stage, they lost 4 matches in the beginning and after that, they won 4 consecutive games in the league. They made their place for the semi-final match where they defeat the Melbourne Renegades team by 15 runs.

It was an amazing tournament for the Brisbane team because they qualified for the final and played against the Perth Scorchers team. The Perth team decide to bat first and set the target for 133 runs in 20 overs. The final was played on the home ground of the Perth team but they lost the final. Brisbane Heat 1st time to become the champion of the BBL. They defeat the Perth team by 34 runs.

Season 3

Brisbane team start the season with their first game win against Perth Scorchers. After the match, they can not maintain the momentum and lost three connective games. In the last three matches, they were successful to get three more wins in the league stage. They ended the league stage at 4th position. The match against Hobart Hurricanes was very difficult to win.

The Brisbane team try best with momentum but they lost the match by 40 runs. In the semi-final, they lost their hope to win the final. But Cameron Gannon becomes the leading wicket-taker from the Brisbane team. Chris Lyn was the highest run scorer of the team and get an award for the highest score. He made 198 runs in the 3rd edition of the Big Bash League.

Season 4

This season Brisbane Heat team lost their first match against Sydney Thunder. In the 2nd match of the league stage, they give a bounce to Melbourne Stars by just 1 run. Later they lost 5 matches against Perth Scorchers, Melbourne Renegades, Sydney Sixers, and Adelaide Oval. In the last match of the league stage, they won the match against Hobart Hurricanes by 18 runs. But they could not make place for the semi-final and finished the tournament season in last place.

Season 5

Daniel Vettori signed as the team coach after Stuart Law. Brisbane Heat signs some new players for a squad like Alex Doolan, Andrew Fekete, Lendl Simmons, Samuel Badree, and many other players. The Brisbane team lost a consecutive match at the beginning of the tournament. On 3 January 2016 in the Gabba stadium, they play against the Sydney Thunder team.

In this match, they defeat the Sydney team by 6 wickets. Chris Lyn makes the highest runs for team 72 on 32 balls. After this match, Brisbane face one more lost match against the Adelaide Oval team. where the Adelaide team won by 8 wickets. On 10 January 2016 Heat play against Sydney Sixers on their home ground and beat them by 6 runs.

Melbourne Stars lost the match against the Brisbane team by 56 runs. In this tournament, Chris Lyn led the team and he made the highest score in the tournament. He made 378 runs in eight matches. Heat won only 3 games in the league stage and can not make the place in the semi-final round.

Season 6

At the start of the 6th season, Brendon McCullum comes back to lead the team. Brisbane team signed three local players and  Tymal Mills as foreign players. The heat team starts the season of the Big Bash League with three consecutive wins against Adelaide, Thunders, and Hobart teams. On 3 January 2016, they face Sydney Sixers to play against. The Brisbane team lost the match by 3 wickets. In the game against the Perth Scorchers team, they won by 9 wickets.

In the last match of the league stage, they lost by just 1 run against Melbourne Renegades. They ended the tournament league stage in a better place they win 5 matches out of 8. The Brisbane Heat team qualify for the semi-final match but they lost the chance to play the final. Because they lost the semi-final match in super over. In the overall tournament, they finished in the 4th spot in the points table.

Season 7

Brisbane gets a win against Melbourne Start by 15 runs at the beginning of the tournament. After this match, they lost the match against the Melbourne Renegades team by 7 wickets. In this season they won 4 matches out of 10 on the league stage. They end the season tournament in the bottom place and could not make a place for the semi-final match.

Season 8

In the 9th edition, they start up the season with a loss of 3 matches. They signed spinner Mujeeb Ur Rehman the Afghan player for their squad. But Brisbane beat Sydney Thunder and Perth team after losing the previous match and get two wins. In one match against Sydney Thunder, no result was coming because of match bounded due to a power cut. They ended the season with 6 winning matches and losing 7. They become on 5th place in the points table.

Season 9

Daniel Vettori comes back again to lead the team after the retirement of Brendon. At the opening of the season, they lost the match against Sydney Thunder by 29 runs. Again they lost the match by facing the Melbourne Renegades team by 22 runs. They get 7 wins and 7 lost matches in the tournament. And finish the tournament in 4th place.

Season 10

Brisbane starts the 1o season with three consecutive losses of the game after that they give a bounce to the Hobart Hurricanes team. The heat team won 10 games in the tournament and lost 8 games. They play the final against the Perth Scorchers team where they lost the match by 49 runs. They finished the tournament as runner-up.

Brisbane Heat Team Home Ground

The Gabba is the sports ground also known as Brisbane Cricket Stadium. It is the home ground of the Brisbane team and it was established in 1895. The ground attends many sports events like cricket, football, baseball, rugby league, and pony. In the beginning, it has a capacity of 41,974, and after its Administration increased its capacity to 50,000 seats. Queensland Government directs the Brisbane  Cricket Stadium.
