Bangladesh Cricket Board decided to create a league that plays under the rules of T20. BCB selects six teams to participate in the tournament which represents 6 different divisions of Bangladesh. Barishal was one of them and bought by Alif SSL Sports Holding Ltd for US$1.01.
Barishal was the cheapest team in the Bangladesh Super League. The auction of the BPL in 2012 hold in the Radisson Hotel in Dhaka. The latter franchise was sold to Axiom Technologies and next to Bulls company in the 2015 season.

Fortune Barishal Team Performance
Fortune Barishal is the runner-up in the first season. They play well in the first four seasons but could not play in the next 3 seasons of BPL due to a termination issue. 2012 BPL

In the group stage, he takes 3rd position but in the team, they get 6th place. They face a big loss of its team player Chris Gayle when he signed to play for the Dhaka team. They include Sunil Narine to stable the team but they could not manage the position and take place at the bottom of the points table.
2015 BPL
After the 2nd edition team rebranded due to the owner changing and came in front as a new look. The owner changes the name of the team from Barishal Burners to Barishal Bulls. They pick Sabir Rahim as the icon player for their team and two Pakistani players Imad Wasim and Mohammad Sami.
The team picks a balanced squad to win the tournament. Bulls team success to take place in the play-off stage. They defeat the Dhaka team in an eliminator by 18 runs.
In the 2nd match of the eliminator play against Rangpur Riders and wins the match by 5 wickets. They play the final match against Comilla Victorians and lost the match by 3 wickets. They ended the season as runner-up 2nd time. Chris Gayle gets the award for the highest score 92. Kevon Cooper get 22 wickets which was the highest wicket by a player this season.
2016 BPL
In the 4th edition, the team picks Mushfiqur Rehman as their captain. they signed 5 foreign players for their team to build a strong squad. The start of the team was very bad they lost the first match with the Dhaka team.
Next, they win two consecutive matches against Comilla Victorians and Rajshahi Kings. In the play-off stage, they can not keep their position stable and failed to qualify for the final. They ended the season of the tournament with the last position in the points table.
