A group of three businesses or people were allowed to submit a joint offer for each franchise by the Board of Control for Cricket in India. With a bid of 5,625 crores, the British private equity and investment advisory firm CVC Capital Partners was successful in obtaining the franchise for Gujrat Titans. Gujrat Titans Team Previous Season
The Titans shocked everyone with their efforts, earning their first victory over fellow newcomers Lucknow Super Giants, even though their auction techniques and their selections during their first-ever auction were viewed as weak and the team was written off.
The Titans’ first victory came during their maiden campaign, which saw them go on to win 10 of their last 14 group games and qualify at the top of the standings with 20 points. Then, after defeating Royal Challengers Bangalore in the qualifying round, they triumphed against Rajasthan Royals in the opening qualifier. They would later face Rajasthan Royals in the final.
On a pitch where they were instructed to bowl first, Gujarat won the match by limiting Rajasthan to 130 and completing the chase with 11 balls remaining, with Shubman Gill hitting the game-winning six off the first ball of the decisive 19th over. Hardik Pandya’s bowling statistics of 3/17 and his 34 from 30 balls with a strike rate of 113.33 earned him the title of Player of the Match.
Pandya has received appreciation from detractors for his leadership, bowling, and batting, and many of them concur that he and the management made good use of their players and collaborated to win the competition.

The 16th season of the Indian Premier League’s newest team, Gujarat Titans, debuted their anthem song in March. The song’s title, “Aava De,” is slang for “come it on” in Gujarati. The players are shown in the promotional video song playing at Ahmedabad’s majestic Narendra Modi Stadium, the team’s home field.
The song, which was written by Dub Sharma and performed by the well-known folk singer Aditya Gadhvi, also includes images of the Rann of Kutch, the kite festival known as Uttarayan, and the narrow streets of tiny towns to represent Gujarat’s rich cultural heritage. Some of the names in the video are Rahul Tewatia, Shubman Gill, Wriddhiman Saha, and skipper Hardik Pandya.
