PSL 2023 Lahore Qalandar Team
Lahore Qalandar is a franchise team that plays in PSL and the team represents Lahore city. In the first four seasons, this team finished at the bottom spot in the points table. Lahore team appear first time in the final in the edition of 2020. In 2022 all players of the team play outstanding in this tournament and get the 1st Champion title. Shaheen Afridi is the captain & Aaqib Javed is the coach of the current team. Lahore team sold out in 25.1 million Rs. The Team Name Logo
In the name of the Lahore Qalandar team, the word Lahore represents the city & Qalandar represents the Sufi culture. Fawad Rana the owner of the Lahore team pick this name due to represent the Sufi culture in this region. In the logo of the Lahore team Sufi represent the famous Sufi Whirling with tree stumps to his right. A cricket ball represents its base. The jersey color of the Lahore team during 1st season was Red & Black. But after 1st season it changes with Green & Black.
Team Anthem
The 1st anthem of the team Lahore sung by Asrar ” Dama Dam Mast Qalandar” in 2016. In the year 2017, the Lahore team change its Anthem “Dama Dam Mast Lahore Qalandar” sung by “Shafqat Amanat Ali”.
Brand Ambassador
The Brand Ambassador of the Lahore team from 2016 to 2018 was Shan. He is a famous film actor in Pakistan Industry. He makes many wonderful films for the Pakistan film industry & gets high fame from them. In 2019 Shaheen Afridi become the Brand Ambassador of Pakistan.

In the 1st four-season, the Lahore Qalandar team did not play well & known as an under performing team. In 2022 the team won its first championship. All the performance details about the Lahore Qalandar team are mentioned below.
PSL 2023 Lahore Qalandar Team in 2016 Year
Lahore Qalandar team start the tournament in 2016 with the loss of two matches against Peshawar Zalmi and Karachi Kings. After this, they get their first win against Quetta Gladiators. Lahore team won only two matches from eight in the group stage. They succeed to get a position in the semi-final stage but cannot make a place in the final stage. The plays only 7 matches in the whole tournament. Umar Akmal won the award of “Best Batsman” on the behalf of the highest runs 335 in the tournament. The Lahore team also won the Fair Play Award & “Spirt Of the Game” award due to showing the best Sportsmen ship.
2017 Year
In the 2017 season, Lahore team lost their first match against Quetta Gladiators. In the next match, they make their place by beating the defending champion Islamabad United. A great partnership of Umar Akmal and Jason Roy of &1 runs make them close to chasing up the target of 159 scores. After replacement of tour in Sharjah, The Lahore get their 2nd win. But in the next game against Quetta Gladiators, Lahore Qalandar failed to make the target score of 201 runs.
But they managed their position in the next match against Islamabad United. They win the match against the Islamabad team by 1 wicket. After shifting the tournament to Dubai Lahore lost the games against Karachi, Quetta, & Islamabad teams. The Lahore Qalandar finish the tournament by making place in the bottom of the points table.
2018 Year
In the season of 2018 Lahore team lost their opening 3 matches against Multan Sultan, Quetta Gladiators & Karachi Kings. As the tournament shifted to Sharjah the team could not manage their position & lost the matches. Lahore Team played a tough match against Islamabad United but they could not chase the target of 122 runs. They made 115/9 against Islamabad United. They make a bottom position in this tournament.
2019 Year
In this season Lahore team picked 12 new players. Muhammad Hafeez captained the Lahore team this season. But due to injury, he withdraw his name from the tournament. After him, AB de Villers captained the team in two matches and after him led the team in six matches. Like all previous seasons, they finished in bottom place.
2020 Year
In this season the Lahore Qalandar team was successful to make their place in the semi-final round. It was the big achievement of Lahore team of PSL history. The make 4rth position in the group stage. In the 1st qualify round the beat Peshawar Zalmi & in Semi-final stage they get win against Multan Sultan for the final. Bur in the final the lost the match against Karachi kings.
2021 Year
In this season Lahore start the tournament with their 1st win against Peshawar Zalmi by getting 143/9 in 19 overs. In the next match they won against Quetta team by 9 wickets & 10 balls left. They get good job to make 179/1 in 19 overs. In the next match the Lahore team chase up the target of 143. The team made 144/5 with the lost of 5 wickets. In this tournament they end up by 5 wins and 5 losses.
2022 Year
They started the tournament play the match against Multan Sultan. In this match they made a good total of 206/ but Multan Sultan defeat them by chase up the score 207. They get the win in the next match against Karachi by making the 171 Score. In the next Match Lahore team made 199 runs against Peshawar Zalmi & won the match easily by 29 runs. The next match was tough because the Islamabad team was in form. But with the bowling of Zaman Khan who took 3 wickets of Asif Ali Lahore successes to win the tournament by 8 runs.
