This team won the Pakistan Super League championship in the 2019 year. Omar Association Karachi-based Company buys the Quetta team. It was sold for US$ 11 Million. Quetta Gladiators Team Identity
Team Logo & Name
The meaning of Quetta Gladiators is Quetta opponent, Word Quetta represent the city of Baluchistan & Gladiators mean opponent, enemy. The name of team is mixture of two words Roman & Asian. In the logo the helmet represent the Roman ” Gela” which was won by them during their fight. Two bats on both sides of the helmet represent the sorrows that are used for fights. The color which are used in logo are Yellow Blue and Golden.
Team Sponsor & Team Kit
Gladiators change their kit in every season. This time two colors used in the kit Yellow & Dark Blue. The Engro sponsor name is written in the center of the shirt. The team official logo design in the left side of the chest. Edenrobe, Jubilee Insurance, Engro & ERP Group are the shirt sponsors.
Brand Ambassador
Annie Khalid was the Brand Ambassador in 2017 for Quetta team. In the year of 2019 the change their Brand Ambassador Maya Ali continue with them till 2020. In 2020 Actor Bilal Ashraf join Maya Ali and till counite branding for Quetta team now.
Team Anthem
The team Quetta change their anthem time to time. In the first season of 2016 to 2017 they represent the anthem ” Chaa Jaye Quetta” & Chaa Jaye Quetta sung by Fakher Mahmood. In 2018 season they change ” Agae Shan Sy Hm” sung by Aima Baig & Fakhair Mahmood. Quetta is the only team which change their anthem songs in every seasons. The Anthem Song Shan-e-Pakistan” sing by Bilal Maqsood in 2022.

2016 Year
Quetta team start the season of PSL with three comfortable wins against Islamabad United, Karachi Kings, Peshawar Zalmi. Quetta finished their group stage with 6 matches win and become 2nd in the points table. In the first Qualifier they get win against Peshawar with 1 run. Peshawar gave them the target of 132 runs and Quetta team chase up the target very easily. After that they were qualified for the final match but they lost the match against Islamabad United by 6 wickets.
2017 Year
In the year of 2017 Quetta team released their 10 players. They play their first rivalry match against Lahore and won by 8 wickets. In the Sharjah Quetta lost first match of the season from Islamabad United. In the next match due to abandoned of shower the points were share in two teams Peshawar & Quetta. They get success against Lahore Qalandar to win the match. In the final two team were faced each other another time. Peshawar & Quetta where the Quetta team was the runner up of first season. Peshawar give the target of 148 runs & Quetta team can not make the runs and all out on just 90 runs.
2018 Year
In the opening of the season Quetta team get 100% success against the Karachi Kings. In the next match they get a wonderful win against Lahore Qalandar which was the great win of them . The make 120 runs in 14 overs against Lahore team. The tournament shifted in the Dubai and Quetta play match against Multan Sultan but chase the target toughly. After this match Gladiators get two consecutive wins against Zalmi’s & Karachi Kings. In the final they play against Zalmi and could not make the target runs and lost the match by six wickets.
2019 Year
Quetta team finished the group stage with 2nd position in points table. In the Qualifier round they defeat Zalmi’s by 10 runs. The final play in the stadium of Karachi where the team of Quetta defeat the Peshawar team by 8 wickets. Muhammad Hasnain get the award for ” Man of the match”.
2020 & 2021 Year
In the both season Quetta could not qualify for the final match. In the start of season they play against Islamabad United and get win against them by 3 wickets. Against Peshawar they get win by six wickets. After that they get two consecutive success against Karachi Kings tam. In the last match of group stage get equal points against Peshawar but could not get the chance to qualify in the play-offs. Due to low run rate they finished the tournament with fifth position in points table.
