Royal Challengers Bangalore Team Identity & Logo

The RCB logo is a type of logo that was drawn with an arrow and shield, in which there are two lions, namely a king and a prince. These two lions were the main symbol of the Royal Burgs in India. RCB logo colors are very traditional, but change to red and black colors. This change was made in order to pay tribute to the name given to this club ‘Royal Challengers’.

Royal Challengers Bangalore Team Jersey

Challengers Bangalore is the first IPL franchise to get associated with a web portal. In 2008, RCB officially announced its association with their official portal “Royal Challengers Bangalore”. On the day after – that is, on April 18th, 2008 – the website went live with a brand-new look and feel.

Royal Challengers Bangalore Theme Song

“Jeteen gy hum shann sy” was the theme song of Royal Challengers Bangalore in 2008.In 2009 “Game For more” was created. The music composer of RCB official song is Amit Trivedi. In 2013 “Here We Go The Royal” and in 2016 “Play Bold” was composed. In 2017 same anthem ‘Play Bold’ was recomposed and sung by Sidharth Basrur.

Royal Challengers Bangalore Brand Ambassador

Katrina Kaif was the brand ambassador of Royal Challengers Bangalore in 2008. We have seen too many stories about Katrina Kaif being the brand ambassador for Royal Challengers Bangalore and she will not be the ambassador for RCB in 2011. She has committed to filmmakers for a movie. The event of the movie shooting is on her priority list than RCB.

RCB Retained Players for IPL 2023

Virat Kohli:

Virat Kohli, Former Captain of the Indian Cricket Team will be the first player on the list of RCB Team retention in the mega auction of IPL 2023. He will not be the one leading the franchise from next year but he will play an integral part of the team.
It has been observed that the Captain has not been performing at his best in the last couple of seasons and hopefully giving up the captaincy will ease the pressure on his shoulders and he will perform at his best in the Indian Premier League 2022.

Ab de Villiers:

People have the expectation that the best players will be in the T-20 tournament. Ab de Villiers cannot be far from this player and fans are expecting a lot from him. The country’s team player is not performing well in the UAE, but hopefully he will show his talent with RCB.

So as you can see, Ab de Villiers is a vital part of the Royal Challengers Bangalore. But in this auction, there will be a tough competition for them as they might lose some players like Gayle, whom they can’t afford to lose from their side. So it is expected that RCB team will concentrate on the retention of de Villiers and Khaleel.

Glenn Maxwell:

The Royal Challengers Bangalore surely have Glenn Maxwell as their first priority to retain in the IPL 2021 auctions. With 201 runs, in 7 matches and three of them were half-centuries.
In my opinion, yes Glenn Maxwell will be retained by RCB again.

This player is one of the most aggressive and consistent. In that way he can provide a lot to the team. I also think that RCB should try to buy Anderson, the South African fast bowler, and trying to retain Jaydev Unadkat once again. These three players have a major role in the success of this team.

Royal Challengers Bangalore Performance 2008 – 2011

This article briefly explain about the performance of Royal Challengers Bangalore in 2008 and 2011 IPL seasons. RCB is one of the popular franchises in IPL. They have won many hearts with their fantastic performance and also made a new fan of glamour because some of the biggest stars are playing for them. Their victory against Kochi Tusker Kerala is commendable, which made them at the top spot on the table.

The team has shown remarkable performance in the opening season due to the quality of players, coach and the strategies. Undoubtedly, the quality and the potential of RCB are among the best in IPL. The team members have a great leadership quality. The team owner is also an experienced player and a champion of 1992 World Cup victory. The owner interacts with their fans on Facebook, Twitter and other social networks.

He is a very popular team owner among youngsters and cricket fans as he has been successful as an IPL player and coach as well as a producer and writer of television serials. The batsman of the RCB are more talented than any other team batsmen but unfortunately they fail due to lower support from bowlers. Due to this reason, the team emerges in just one place in 2nd season, 2010/. On April 9, 2011 RCB defeated Kochi Tusker Kerala by 6 wickets under captaincy of Virat Kohli.

Royal Challengers Bangalore Performance 2012 to 2016

RCB is one of the most successful team in the IPL today, but only if they don’t lose any match, they can have a chance to reach the semis or finals. Let us hope that RCB will improve its performance in 2017 with better results.

They are a good team with superb performances. The leadership has been very good. At the same time, Shah Rukh Khan is always actively helping to finish the matches. With players like Chris Gayle and AB De Villiers, every match of them is worth watching.

RCB has come a long way from its shaky start in 2008 with the likes of Mark Boucher, Tillakaratne Dilshan and even Murali Kartik and Daniel Vettori skippering them. In 2016, they are now in the spotlight again as a major threat provided they can keep their team together.

Royal Challengers Bangalore Performance 2017 to 2019:

In 2017, they ended up at the below table and they change their squad for each match which was the reason it’s downfall. They kept losing matches consecutive as they could not make a high score. The pitch of M. Chinnaswamy Stadium was changed and hard to make a run on the new pitch. In 2018 IPL, Royal challengers ended up with 6th position in the points table.

In 2019, Dale Steyn one of the best bowlers joined the RCB team for victories. After playing matches he was ruled out from the tournament due to injury. Out of 14 matches played RCB won 5, lost 8, and tied one. RCB fans expected the best from Virat Kohli because he was to lead his country in the upcoming Cricket World cup. They finished their season with a disappointing performance.

RCB in IPL 2020 & 2021

In 2020, they were one of the 8 teams to compete in the tournament. However, they lost against Sunrisers Hyderabad in the eliminator, finishing the season in 3rd place with 7 wins from 14 matches. RCB has added superstars like Glenn Maxwell, Dan Christian, and Kyle Jamieson from New Zealand to their squad for IPL. RCB won five matches this season. Maxell made the highest score against 164 for 7 against Punjab Kings.
